Hand Chimes

Hand Chimes are musical instrument that are classified as a hand percussion and it sounds like a bell. One hand chime refers to one tone.

They are similar to hand bell, but they are cheaper, easier, lighter, and flexible, making them more accessible for school activity.

Chimes Extracurricular are a group activity that needs teamwork. We have to get the same rhythm and pitching, combined with tone and expressions. The sound produce is relaxing, it blends nicely.

I had chosen Chimes Extracurricular since I was in 7th Grade.  I really enjoyed it and still in Chimes Extracurricular until now. We played in some school activities such as Christmas and Easter. This last year we played in Shangri-La with Elementary Ensemble Team on December, “Haiti” and “Black&White”.
When I was in 9th grade, the teacher was gone out of town and we were taught by the 3 seniors: Jessica Karli, Josephine Livia, and Julinda. They were 2 years upper than me. But because they have already in 12th Grade, they have to study for their Final Exams and stop all their extracurricular. So now Chimes Extracurricular is teaches by Evelyne (11th), Tania (10th), and me.
